Places will be available to children starting the term after their third birthday at the start of each new school term (September, January, April) and will be allocated in line with Aspire’s Nursery Admissions & Waiting List Policy. We only take requests during term time.
This means you will be eligible to apply for a place starting in:
- September 2024
o The deadline for Autumn Term 2024 places is Monday 1st July at midday.
- January 2025
o The deadline for Spring Term 2025 places is Monday 2nd December at midday.
- April 2025
o The deadline for Summer Term 2025 places is Monday 10th March at midday.
Hours Available:
At St Uny C of E Academy Nursery, we offer the eight options below.
30 funded hours (08.45am – 14.45pm)*
*Parents are not able to pay for 30 hours each week – these are funded places only. It is the parent’s responsibility to check their eligibility through HMRC and they must provide an eligibility code to ourselves for checking with Nursery funding prior to being able to take up the extended offer. Although school administrators will receive notifications when the code has gone into the grace period, it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that they renew the code.
*The rate for Option 7: £5 an hour, which equates to £12.50 per week for parents to top up to 32.5 hours. This must be paid in advance. This is only available to parents who are eligible for 30 hours of funding. ** From September 2024 the hourly rate will increase to £6.
Wrap Around Care Information:
Due to the age of children in the Nursery, we will not be able to offer wrap around hours. The school’s ‘Breakfast’ and ‘After School’ provision will not be available for Nursery children.
