Our Eco Committee meets to discuss important issues in our academy and the local area. Pupils from Year 2 - Year 6 are represented, with the children looking for ways to help the local environment and reduce the school's carbon footprint. 

Meeting 1 - 17.10.25

The Eco Committe met and have set out their first actions for the year:

• Litter picking in the local park. 
• Litter picking at Carbis Bay Beach. 
• Sourcing more bins for the school's outdoor areas. 
• A 'no litter' poster competition. 
• Light monitors in each class. 

Meeting 2 - 12.11.25

The Eco Committe planned and carried out a litter pick at the local park - they were amazing and collect over one bin bag full of rubbish. The team will meet again soon to plan their next project.
